A player’s perspective.
A coach’s purpose.
THE PLAYING FOUNDATION
Raised in San Diego, California, Colby grew up around one of the country’s most competitive baseball environments. He competed as a collegiate middle infielder and utility player at the CCCAA and NCAA Division II levels and was recognized on the Minnesota Twins prospect list during his collegiate career.
THE COACHING APPROACH
His approach goes beyond running athletes through drills. He helps players develop their fundamentals, athleticism, baseball IQ, and confidence—and understand how to adjust to the game.
THE REASON BEHIND NORTH STATE
Baseball gave Colby experiences and lessons that extended far beyond the field. Through North State, he wants to help the next generation build the physical and mental tools to create meaningful experiences of their own.
